What is the Compass Point Retirement Navigator / IBEW
Scholarship?
An annual scholarship grant for the relatives of
active and retired IBEW Members Sponsored by Compass Point Retirement Planning,
Inc and The IBEW. Two $1000.00 scholarships will be awarded.
Who is eligible?
The Compass Point Retirement
Navigator / IBEW Scholarship will be granted to a student pursuing higher
education. The student must be a child, grandchild, niece or nephew of an
active or retired member of the following IBEW Locals: 2222, 2325, 2327, 2326,
2321, or 2320.
How are the recipients selected?
The scholarship will be granted to a student pursuing a post high school
program at an accredited secondary institution, (College or University within
the US), or established trade school; including full time enrollment in
undergraduate, graduate or trade school programs. The award will be based
solely upon community involvement and service.
How do I apply for
Compass Point Retirement Navigator / IBEW Scholarship?
If you
meet the eligibility requirements above, you may submit your application via
our online application or you may mail
your application to the address below.
All
applications must include an essay of up to two pages in
length that answers the question:
“How have you
positively affected your community?”
Only
applications postmarked or received by June 30, 2011 will be

students who are selected will be notified by mail.
